Great day as artist in residence at Kings Park today for the beginning of the Spring Festival. Pretty cold with patches of sun and rain but lovely soft colours and the park is looking so beautiful with lots of plants flowering.
The stunning colours of the white eucalypt bark with the new blossoms of acacia, “blue bush” and the red dirt. This painting is taken from an area near Mt Burgess, Coolgardie, WA.

Love being involved as artist in residence with Millennium Kids Inc taking local indigenous kids out on country to learn about the Great Western Woodland. We have been drawing and painting the plants and animals native to the area and learning about aboriginal..
Heading back out to Coolgardie this weekend with Millennium Kids Inc for more drawing, painting and learning about the awesome Great Western Woodland with the local kids. We will also be learning about the elusive mallee fowl!
